She has worked with many Civil Engineers finding creative ways to increase density, deal with access, grading, stormwater, and other mitigations to save natural resources where necessary or desired.

Katherine's goal is to try and make the world a better place one development at a time. She serves on the City of Bend’s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, is a past Mayor and Councilperson and Planning Commissioner of Sebastopol, CA. She is a member of the executive board of AIA Oregon and a past President of the Redwood Empire Chapter of the AIA in California.

Katherine has been an educator and past Chair of the National AIA Housing Knowledge Community speaking on Sustainable and Affordable housing in conferences across the country. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, Katherine will be an integral part of bringing success to any development.

Katherine’s background in city government, writing zoning codes as well as General Plans give her a leg-up in delivering successful developments. Her designs have met with approval by neighborhood groups as well as Design Review Boards, Planning Commissions and City or County Councils.

Katherine has a 100% approval record for all of her designs, which, in turn, means her efficient building designs lead to on time, on budget, and beautiful communities.
