This type of housing is primarily designed for Non-Profit developers or private developers using Tax Credit Financing and has specific governmental requirements beyond code compliance. Projects shown range in size from 12 Self-Help Homes to 32, 56 and 68 unit projects that consist of 3&4 bedroom townhouses and studios, 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. Sites were designed to maximize density. Two provided sound mitigation for proximity to Rail Road and Freeway. ADA compliance in site design, as well as unit design, was provided by the Architect. Playgrounds and Community Buildings were provided for all apartments. Developments are in Northern California and meet the exacting standards for Green Building design.
