Katherine designed a development for low-income seniors in the exclusive town of Healdsburg CA. The site was provided as a result of a lawsuit and as such is rimmed on 3 sides by roads, on a significant slope, and with many mature oak trees. Katherine managed to provide accessibility to all but 6 of the 23 units and included a community building as well as parking and retaining mature oaks. It is designed to look like a vacation lodge and is well-loved by its residents and has received an award from the AIA.
