Infill subdivisions with lots under 4,000 sf have been the bread and butter of Katherine’s practice. She has designed dozens of small lot subdivisions in multiple cities. Homes range typically from 1200 to 1400 SF and thus provide greater affordability by size. Densities are typically 8 – 11 units per acre but can be up to 15 u/a when Accessory Dwelling Units are counted as duplex lots.
